CATTLE DECAPITATION, SNOT To Guest On 'Chaos With Full Metal Jackie'

January 17, 2009

CATTLE DECAPITATION frontman Travis Ryan and the reunited lineup of the legendary Santa Barbara metal/punk rock hybrid SNOT will be the featured guests on this Sunday's (January 18) edition of Indie 103.1 FM's specialty metal program "Chaos with Full Metal Jackie" at 10:00 p.m. PST (1:00 a.m. EST Monday morning).

To listen to the program live via the Internet, go to this location. The program also airs on KNAC.COM Monday nights between 7 and 9 p.m. PST (and again on Sunday mornings between 7 and 9 a.m.).

Note: Even though Indie 103.1 FM has ceased terrestrial radio broadcasting as of this past Thursday (January 15),it will continue to operate on the Internet.

"The Harvest Floor", the new album from San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION, is being streamed in its entirety on Buzzgrinder.com. Besides being able to hear each song in its full, grinding glory, you can read a song-by-song breakdown by vocalist Travis Ryan.

CATTLE DECAPITATION filmed a video for the song "Regret & the Grave" last weekend. According to the band, "We managed to pull off some serious guerilla-style filming right in the middle of a busy park with frightening 'shock troopers' walking and pacing around in full regalia and the volunteers helped offset that with their 'normal' and toned down looks. The video should be ready for viewing within a couple weeks; just a couple more scenes to shoot and we're DONE! It's going to be quite a disturbing piece of footage, to say the least."

Check out photos from the video shoot at this location.

"The Harvest Floor" is scheduled for release on January 20 in North America; January 30 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy; and February 2 throughout the rest of Europe via Metal Blade Records. An e-card for the album can be found at this location.
